Complete economic meltdown in Zimbabwe

Its finally happened. The basic food essentials have vanished in Zimbabwe.

Robert Mugabe policies have finally food almost unattainable in a country that was once the bread basket of Africa.. He has been at the helm of Zimbabwe for 27 years and things have progressively gotten worse. Zimbabwe has the highest inflation rate in the world 10,000% per year making the local currency mostly worthless.

Mugabe nationalized the farms that were owned by white farmers dividing up the land to locals who had no idea in farming methods. These farms were reduced to waste lands and the spiral of economic chaos had started. The crisis has reached epic proportions as hospitals cannot even provide the most basic of services. People have died of dehydration in the hospitals themselves.

Mugabe for his part has imposed a price freeze on goods sold making it impractical for producers to make anything. This has only worsened the crisis.

Nobody is quite sure how much worse it can get in Zimbabwe, its to frightening to contemplate.
