Boston sports capital of the United States.

It doesn’t seem very fair for one city to have two great sports teams. But that is the situation as the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox are on top of the sports world. The Pats were toying with the Dolphins while they obliterated them 49-28. It wasn’t that close.

The Pats let up a bit going into the second half so as not to embarrass the Dolphins.

They look like the most dominating team in NFL history. The game itself was a bit of a joke as the Patriots could have scored 20 more points if they wanted to. They are headed for a showdown with the Indianapolis Colts in two weeks where both teams should be unbeaten and at 8-0. The Patriots should win that one as well. If they don’t win the super bowl that might be the biggest sports surprise ever.

The Red Sox are hosting the World Series this year after winning a seventh game at Fenway Park. Their dramatic come from behind win in this series ( they were down 3-1 in games )goes down as another crazy finish for these Sox. They will be favored to win against the Colorado Rockies as they have on paper better pitching and stronger lineup.

If the series goes seven games then the seventh game will be on November 1.  If there are any rain delays the series could end later of course. On November 4 the Likely unbeaten Patriots will be playing the likely unbeaten Colts in big big game.

 Did I mention the Celtics.
