Patriots get ready for superbowl run The New England Patriots are the most dominant team in NFL history and maybe the most dominant team in any sport for a single season.  The almost unbelievable perfect record of 16-0 in the regular season is now a fact and new record. They will now need to play two more games in order to reach the game of games. The Superbowl.

They will either play Pittsburgh, Tennessee, or Jacksonville on January 12.  Their likely opponent will be Pittsburgh which if they defeat they will face the next week in all likelihood the Indianapolis Colts. Those teams or any other will have a lot to play for when they face the Patriots. Not only the lure of advancing towards a Superbowl berth but making history of being the only team to beat the Patriots during the year. A relatively weak team that comes into Gillette stadium will have nothing to lose and may gamble to win. Fans should look for trick plays and almost anything by opponents of New England in the post season.

If the Super bowl is anything like the last regular season game between the Giants and the Patriots it will be one hell of a game. The Pats barely won 38-35 in a thriller.

Its going to be a lot of fun.
