Link baiting- it works Webmasters and anyone else that is trying to make money on the internet is trying to get links from high quality websites. It is still the best way to improve a sites standing on the search engines. Googles crack down on link buying has discouraged the link buying practice and has allegedly even punished sites for such practices. Reciprocal links don’t seem to bring the same link juice that a pure natural link brings if it brings any at all. Pure natural links can be had thru some simple steps. It’s the new world of link baiting and this is one of the ways how it works. A top 20 list can be created on something mildly related to the site and posted on the site in either the blog section or some other section. When these pages go up they will be eventually be cached or noticed by the search engine robots. When one of these lucky companies notices that when they do a search on themselves the top 20 article appears in google, they will be happy. Happy and maybe appreciative and will link back to the original site. Even if they are not appreciative it might be in their best interest to mention on their site that an authority site thinks they are in a top 20 category. |
