Presidential race heats up.

Obama and Clinton spar in Texas on health issues and other things. They seem to be promising everything under the sun. Clinton promises to end the situation where 25% of Texans have no health insurance. She says mandatory health insurance is the only way. Obama says he will raise the minimum wage so people who work do not have to be poor.
Nobody seems to really believe Obama or Clinton too much as campaign promises after victory are soon forgotten by all. People now are looking at the style of the candidates, looking for some flaw. Obama Clinton and McCain are very different Candidates indeed. McCain is the crusty old former POW who wants to go to Cuba and find the Cuban who tortured him while in Vietnam. Obama would never have gone to Vietnam and Clintons husband Former President Clinton avoided the draft.

Obama recently skipped a black state of the Union affair in New Orleans. His absence no doubt because of advice he has received to not portray himself as to “ black “ to be able to appeal to a more wide range of voters. Clinton on the other hand wants to draw blacks away from Obama and decided to go to the Black state of the Union. Obama may of made a blunder by not attending this event. He is trying to be careful maybe too careful. He may be losing his momentum and have peaked a little early in his quest to become the first black Democratic president in US history.

Obama may be getting a little nervous, justifiably so.
