The civil war in Iraq seems to be continuing unabated as 31 shite pilgrims are killed as they come back from a pilgrimage on a Shite holiday.

Barely a day goes by without a suicide bombing that kills indiscriminately men women and children. It seems no one really knows what to do as coalition forces seem to be losing its resolve to restore law and order. Democracy doesn't seem to be taking hold in Iraq as its influence in the Moslem world is minimal at best.

President Bush while touring South America has asked to increase troop levels in Iraq in anticipation of the insurgency losing steam. Even one of the heirs to the British crown Prince Harry is expected to redeploy to Iraq very soon ahead of the exit of British troops soon after. The free world is still looking for answers to the wave of nationalistic pan-Arab sentiments that seems to have captivated the hearts and minds of the Arab world. Those alleged answers seem to be creating more problems.

Many have seem to have taken the bloodbath in stride becoming numb to the ever growing anti-west and anti-american sentiment. What does the future hold in this as many have said the beginning of a third World War?. This is hard to say bit it is safe to say that it will get worse before it gets better.
